On Demand Service

On demand service are carried out at Mercedes R us service technicians upon the client request, or if deemed important by our skilled service agents. On demand service is a targeted service to ensure the ultimate care for a specific car function, part, component or system.

Mercedes R us offers the following On demand services:

Air Filters

Once the air filter gets dirty or clogged, the engine won’t be able to suck enough air into the combustion chambers. The engine will then run rich (i.e., too much gas and not enough air). When this happens, your car will lose power and run roughly. At Mercedes R us, we will check the air filters with each scheduled service and if deemed required by our skilled service agents.

Brake pads and needs to be replaced at specific interval service times, once neglected, the brakes can cause damage to other, more expensive brake parts, such as rotors, drums and calipers, and will ultimately fail. We will inform you well in advance that your brake pads needs to be replaced, and you can fix a service appoint for replacement.

Drive Belts

Every car has a water pump, a power-steering pump and various accessories — all of which are powered by rubber drive belts. Belts in your car don’t last forever. They wear out from use and eventually crack and decay. If you hear a screeching noise coming from under the hood, you might have a loose belt. We recommend to pay us a visit to inspect your car, and advise for any repairs.

Oil Changes

Oil undergoes thermal breakdown due to high operating temperature. When this occurs, the oil becomes less effective as a lubricant. Consequently, parts of the engine rub together and wear each other out. We do change your oil with every minor or major service, however, based on the environment conditions of your car usage, as well as your driving habits, you may consider changing the oil more frequently. Please visit us to advise if Oil Change is required.

Power-Steering Fluid

Over time, the power-steering components wear out, break apart, affect the power-steering fluid and eventually break down. Hearing a whining noise when you turn the steering wheel may be an early indicator to have your power-steering system checked.

Rotating Tyres

It is not a must to rotate your car tyres, however by rotating them, you will increase your tyres’ life because they’ll wear more evenly.

Tyre Pressure

Having the proper tyre pressure is a crucial safety issue. Next to the brakes, the tyres are the most important safety devices on your car. Incorrect tyre pressure will compromise cornering, braking, stability and also affect your comfort, fuel economy and tyre life. We will be glad to check your tyre pressure on every visit or whenever advised by our expert service agents.
